If you’re based in Asia, perhaps Hong Kong or Singapore for example, and looking for a tutor for your child, why not consider a UK based tutor?

One

You may be thinking of your child attending a senior school in the UK. I have experience of teaching the UK curriculum and tutoring students of 11+, 13+ and 16+ entrance exams. I can help with English, French and Spanish for beginners and improvers, primary and secondary education, as well as preparation for exams (GCSE, iGCSE).

Two

Even if you’re not thinking of attending a UK education setting, the best tutors tend to be booked up for all after-school times. It is rare that I have availability for lessons during the evenings and weekends, but I do have sessions available within the school day - which works perfectly for those in a different time-zone as your after-school time sessions are when I am available!

Three

If you are looking for English lessons (EFL, ESL) then I am in the perfect position to help. Not only am I a native speaker but I have many years of experience teaching Modern Languages. What is more, as a language learner myself, I understand the challenges of learning a second language so that I can enable progress for my students which increases their enjoyment of their studies. A student who is learning and making progress is a satisfied, happy one.

Finally, when looking for a tutor, ensure that the person you choose is qualified to provide the standard of tutoring you require. I am a fully qualified teacher with 20 years of experience teaching in schools and also as a tutor, face to face and online using Zoom.
